Made by Westwood. After hours of research I have not yet been able to find any information on the company and I can not date this lovely piece.
Faux tortoiseshell
Oriental Geisha ladies in traditional dress &  young Boy decoration to the lid. Part reverse painted with shimmering gilt accents. Celluloid cover.
Mirror set into the lid.

Overall condition is very good with light signs of wear. Decoartion has lifted ever so slightly in places.
