Overall condition for age is good. The decoration to the lid is lovely. The base looks like someone has cleaned it with the wrong product as the lacquer is uneven. 
Some wear/Tarnishing to metal.
Hinge bar does not go all the way across but this does not affect the hinge. Exterior clasp working as it should. Scratches/fogging to polished steel mirror
