True Art Deco Powder Compact

Octagonal Shape 
Copper with Jet Black enamel.
The lid mounted with a silver marcasite laurel leaf garland.
Gilt brass interior with rotating sifter.
5.8cm dia
 
No makers marks possibly Austrian or French.
For such a petite compact it has a really good weight.
 
Condition for age is good. There are a few depp scratches & some scuffing to the enamel on the base. The clasp is a little worn so does not shut tightly but this is due to being used over & over. Mirror has a few minor blemishes. Sifter rotates freely.
